Version 1.105
Latest November 7, 2026Staged construction analysis, seismic design by AISC 341-22, and the support reactions your foundations and piles now read.
New
- Staged construction analysis Pro — an addition to an existing structure, or a structure built in any number of stages, analysed as it is built: each stage's loads carried by the structure standing then, every later load by the whole. Analysed at once, the addition shares loads it never carried, and the existing members you most need to check are understated. Why it matters
- Seismic design by AISC 341-22 Pro — on its own Seismic Design tab: ordinary, intermediate and special moment frames, cantilever column systems, ordinary and special concentrically braced frames, eccentrically braced frames and buckling-restrained braced frames, dual systems included. Each member's role is found from the model; the capacity-limited analyses, the prequalified connections of ANSI/AISC 358-22 on the beam, the required strengths of the column bases, splices and connections, and what the construction documents must show. See the seismic design
- ASCE 7-22's seismic requirements — the equivalent lateral force written as earthquake load cases (the seismic weight, the period, the base shear and its distribution, the accidental torsion and the torsional irregularity), the combinations with overstrength, and each story's drift and stability coefficient.
- Rigid diaphragms — mark a level in the Named Elevations table and its joints move as one body in its plane.
- Your reactions, read by your foundations and piles Pro — FoundaTrix Studio and PileTrix Studio, in the same cloud job, read the support reactions a run saves with the structure, as footing loads or a pile's head loads, and take its latest saved version before every run. A Pro feature of those programs; it needs your own StruTrix Studio subscription or trial as well. How it works
Improved
- With nothing selected, the view turns about the centre of the model, and a pan holds the point you pressed on under the cursor.
- The User's Manual is rearranged in seventeen sections, with an engineering notice, getting started in ten minutes, a section on verifying results, and pictured tutorials of a building, a transmission pole, a staged construction analysis and a seismic design.
- Selecting thousands of members, and setting their construction stage, takes seconds.
- Escape in a drop-down list closes it without changing its value.
